Another quarterback is off the board.
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Penn State’s Drew Allar in the third round of the NFL draft on Friday.
Allar was limited to just six games last season after he suffered a broken ankle in early October. The big QB was widely expected to make a strong push to be the first QB off the board prior to the injury.
During his first season as a starter in 2023, Allar led the Big Ten in passing touchdowns with 25 and tossed just two interceptions.
With Aaron Rodgers yet to make a decision on his future, Allar now joins 2025 draft pick Will Howard in Pittsburgh.
