Liam Rosenior’s time in Chelsea was short-lived.

Rosenior is out as Chelsea manager after a ruinous Premier League run of five losses without scoring a goal.

The Premier League club confirmed his departure on Wednesday after less than four months in the job and just days before it plays in an FA Cup semifinal.

“This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season,” the club said in a statement.

In the interim, Calum McFarlane will fill the position before the team starts searching for a permanent replacement at the end of the season.
