Crochet left the game with the Red Sox trailing 11-0 in the second inning. He didn’t record a strikeout, walked three batters, hit another and allowed nine hits on 55 pitches.
The Twins hit two home runs off Crochet and also scored two runs on an error by shortstop Trevor Story.
Crochet was a finalist for the American League Cy Young award in 2025 and entered his start Monday with a 3.12 ERA and 22 strikeouts over his first three starts.
