Ryan Poehling scored the overtime winner as the Anaheim Ducks defeated the visiting Oilers 4-3 in Game 4 on Sunday to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the first-round series.
Poehling’s goal had to undergo a lengthy review as there was a debate over whether the puck actually crossed the goal line. But because it was called a good goal on the ice, there was not enough evidence in the review to overturn the call.
The Oilers will look to keep their season alive in Game 5 back in Edmonton on Tuesday (10 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. MT, Sportsnet and Sportsnet+).
