Toronto FC will be down a key member for Saturday’s game against Atlanta United.

Canadian defender/midfielder Richie Laryea has been ruled out for the game with a thigh injury, per the MLS injury report.

Laryea, 31, has started all nine games for TFC this season and has two goals and two assists.

This is Laryea’s eighth season as a member of his hometown team.

The Toronto native is expected to be selected to Canada’s roster for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.

TFC enters Saturday’s match against Atlanta sixth in the Eastern Conference after a 3-2-4 start to the season.
