A late addition to the Toronto Raptors‘ injury report Wednesday, the second-year guard was listed questionable with an illness but now appears healthy enough to play Thursday, according to Sportsnet’s Michael Grange, as Toronto tries to avoid falling into an 0-3 hole in its first-round series with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Starting point guard Immanuel Quickley, however, still remains questionable with the hamstring strain that kept him out of the first two games in the series.
Walter had 21 points combined between Games 1 and 2 and made four of the 11 3-pointers he took.
The 21-year-old averaged 7.5 points and 2.6 rebounds on 44.6 per cent shooting in 72 regular-season games for Toronto while averaging 20.5 minutes of action per contest.
The series shifts to Toronto for Game 3, which goes Thursday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT in Cleveland on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet+.
